15 July, 2008 Howdy friends,

This past Saturday night (the 12th) we celebrated our 100TH SHOW down at HIGH VELOCITY, and what a fun evening it was!! This was the biggest crowd we'd played to there since last year's Halloween show, so the energy was high from the outset. It was great to see so many long-time friends come out on this night, as well as those who've become part of the fold more recently. So many of you had nothing but nice things to say both between sets and afterwards... to us, we're just sharing the music we collectively love with those of you that feel the same. (OK, I'll stop getting all 'zen' now.) We whole-heartedly say a collective THANK YOU!! to y'all!!

As for the performance, we didn't do anything all that special for the event – no cake, no silly hats, etc. – but we did switch things up a lot song-wise, pulling out a bunch of tunes that were never (or rarely) played at HV. As to those 'rare'-ish songs, 3 were of the AC/DC variety: "Whole Lotta Rosie", "Shoot To Thrill" and "Walk All Over You" each had only been played once before at HV (and in the case of "Walk..." it had been 2 years!?!) "Smokin' In The Boys Room" - same thing - 2 years between airings. "Deep Cut" of the evening – "Desert Plains" by JUDAS PRIEST. We even got to pop in a new song, "Walk In The Shadows" by QUEENSRŸCHE that we'd been working on for a while, so it was nice to finally get that one out there.

For those who keep track of these things, here's the full song list for the night:

1st set: Whole Lotta Rosie • Let It Go • Smokin' In The Boys Room • Detroit Rock City • Nothin' But A Good Time • I Don't Know • Would? • Desert Plains • And The Cradle Will Rock • Seasons Of Wither • Knocking At Your Back Door • The Trooper • Queen Of The Reich • Shoot To Thrill

2nd set: Run Like Hell • Children Of The Grave • Wild Side • Sad But True • Beyond The Realms Of Death • Walk In The Shadows* • Welcome Home (Sanitarium) • War Pigs • Black Betty* • Rock & Roll All Nite* • Wild Child

* denotes new song
* denotes request

We've now come up to a break in our schedule... and not a moment too soon. We've got about a month off for vacations and the like, and we're hoping to learn some new tunes as well. We return to action on the 15th of August at SEASONS in Edison, with a return trip back down to HIGH VELOCITY the following week, on the 22nd. Our fall calendar is filling up as I type, so there should be a whole lot of BONEDADDY to go around in the coming months.

Once again, thanks hella!

P.S. Here's some 'fun facts' from our first 100 shows:

• We once played "Metal Health" twice at the same show. We played it early, and someone requested it again later so we said 'what the hell'.

• We've always added in other PINK FLOYD songs and riffs to the middle section of "Run Like Hell". At one time or another, each of the following have been present: "Echoes"; "Pigs (3 Different Ones)"; "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part II)"; "Interstellar Overdrive"; "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun"; "Bike"; "Welcome To The Machine"; "Another Brick In The Wall (Parts I, II & II)"; "Happiest Days Of Our Lives"; and "Astonomy Domine". In addition, snippets of "Red Barchetta" and "Freewill" by RUSH, "Suffer The Children" by NAPALM DEATH and "Close To The Edge" by YES have appeared in there.

• The untitled closing 'jam' at the end of VAN HALEN's Women And Children First has been aired at least 20 times. It's uncredited on their album, so, accordingly, we don't log it down as 'official'.

• Finally, we've never played "Freebird". Nor do we plan to. ;-P
