BAND HISTORY

Formed by vocalist/frontman Bartley Collins and guitarist/studio wizard CJ Sciøscia in 1997, BONEDADDY was originally touted as a "studio only" project created to record one track for the Internet fan-based KISS tribute project KAOL (a nod to the popular Internet chat room 'KISS Army OnLine'). The result, a brooding and concussive version of Ace Frehley's "Strange Ways", was one of the high points of the very successful KAOL debut Music From The Folder. Produced by the not-for-profit organization MusiCare Online (www.musicareonline.org), proceeds from the sales of this release were donated to the cancer wing of The Children's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.

Subsequently, BONEDADDY continued to participate in future KAOL releases, recording tracks for the KISS tributes Creatures Of The Net ("100,000 Years"), as well as the KISS 'solo album' tribute Spirit of '78 ("I Can't Stop The Rain"). The band was also a major contributor to the 'soundtrack' CD accompanying the KISS-based fantasy novel, Dale Sherman's A World Without Heroes ("Nothin' To Lose", "Black Diamond").

While remaining partnered in the recording studio as BONEDADDY, Collins and Sciøscia branched out as a live unit, performing together in recent years as the '80s metal tribute *NSANE (with current BD bassist Chris Laurent), and more recently as the punk/metal tribute band LEATHER CHEERIO (with original BONEDADDY drummer Dan Davie).

Now with long time associate Chris Laurent on bass and former JUKEBOX ZERO drummer Brian McMahon, Collins and Sciøscia have decided to put the BONEDADDY name out on the boards as a live unit. Featuring a wider repertoir which includes more 'classic rock' material (Cheap Trick, Queen, Foreigner, Jethro Tull), as well as a healthy dose of '80s hard rock staples (Ozzy, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard), the band has currently amassed a song list of nearly 200 tunes running the gamut from AC/DC to Led Zeppelin.
